About the Role
The Forensic Identification Technologist will provide in-person experiential learning support for Professors teaching in the Forensic Identification Post Graduate Certificate program. This role involves supporting students in lab completion, monitoring lab activities, and providing instruction on equipment usage.
Responsibilities
- Support experiential learning competencies including photography, processing a death scene, fingerprint development and analysis, forensic document examination, DNA and blood profiling techniques, and disaster scene management.
- Assist students during in-class lab completion, including exercises and assignments.
- Provide instruction on equipment usage.
- Answer questions related to assignments.
- Monitor lab activities between classes.
- Provide access to lab equipment.
Requirements
- Display the faculty’s values of compassion, integrity, respect, self-awareness, and inclusion.
- Willingness to alter schedules to fit the needs of the Forensic Identification Program.
- Scheduling flexibility for up to 24 hours per week, including some evening work.
