About the Role
M&T’s End User Computing Team provides modern digital experiences to M&T Bank employees, enabling them to focus on their jobs rather than their technology. We are responsible for shepherding the Microsoft suite, collaboration tools, and hardware used by employees, constantly evolving these foundational capabilities. Our team builds and delivers a wide variety of cutting-edge capabilities used across the enterprise to provide the best internal customer experience and enhance business partner delivery.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first responder to help desk escalations, resolving technical incidents and service requests.
- Troubleshoot issues using basic diagnostic tools to ensure smooth system operation.
- Perform system maintenance tasks, including patching, health checks, and updates, following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Research and report complex issues to senior staff when anomalies arise.
- Collaborate on projects with team members and provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
- Identify opportunities to enhance existing procedures for greater efficiency and document improvements.
- Understand and adhere to risk and regulatory standards, escalating any risk-related issues.
- Maintain internal control standards and promptly address audit points to ensure compliance.
- Handle various related duties as assigned, adapting to new challenges and learning opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of higher education and/or work experience.
- Prior experience in digesting technical information and communicating technical problems effectively.
- Experience supporting MacBook and IOS devices.
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
