About the Role
International Wire Group is hiring Manufacturing Machine Operators to join our growing team across our Central New York manufacturing facilities. This is an opportunity to build a rewarding career with a company that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently while meeting production goals.
- Set up, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot production machinery.
- Inspect products to ensure compliance with quality standards and production specifications.
- Record production and quality data using computerized systems.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support efficient production.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Safely handle raw materials and finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout the scheduled shift.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed.
- Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Associate, Equipment Operator, or similar manufacturing role.
- Experience operating industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
