About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, growth-focused, and operational Vice President of E-Commerce & Digital Growth to lead the global digital footprint for a newly acquired luxury brand. You will own the full DTC P&L, oversee digital marketing strategy, manage the e-commerce tech stack, and optimize the end-to-end customer journey. You will bridge performance marketing and brand storytelling, partnering closely with Creative, Brand Marketing, and Social Media teams to build high-converting, asset-rich digital campaigns. You will scale customer acquisition, deepen brand loyalty through CRM, and lead a high-performing digital team.

Responsibilities

  • Full financial accountability for the direct-to-consumer e-commerce business across North America ($18M+) and the UK ($2M+), driving top-line revenue, gross margin, and bottom-line profitability.
  • Manage the brand's largest marketing budget, allocating performance spend dynamically across paid search, paid social, affiliate, display, and emerging channels to achieve target MER and ROAS.
  • Oversee localized e-commerce strategies for international growth.
  • Oversee website architecture, site performance, UX/UI, site search, product taxonomy, and checkout flows to maximize conversion rate (CVR) and average order value (AOV).
  • Evaluate, integrate, and manage our digital technology stack (e-commerce platform, PIM, OMS, search/merchandising tools, personalization engines, analytics, and third-party apps).
  • Collaborate with logistics, customer service, and inventory planning teams to ensure optimal product availability, streamlined fulfillment, and premium unboxing experiences.
  • Define the overarching strategy across performance channels (Meta, Google, Pinterest, TikTok, Affiliate) and retention streams (Email, SMS, Direct Mail).
  • Work in lockstep with the Creative and Social Media teams to establish a continuous pipeline of high-converting visual assets, copy, and video content tailored to performance channels.
  • Partner with Merchandising and Product Design to translate seasonal collection launches into compelling digital site takeovers and digital campaigns.
  • Lead customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and retention initiatives to drive repeat purchase frequency and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Establish robust reporting dashboards tracking core digital KPIs (CAC, LTV, CVR, AOV, MER, bounce rates, churn).
  • Translate data into clear strategic action items.
  • Manage and mentor a cross-functional digital team spanning site merchandising, performance marketing, CRM, and digital design.
  • Partner with Retail and Wholesale leadership to ensure cohesive product storytelling, pricing parity, and unified brand campaigns.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of progressive leadership experience in DTC e-commerce and performance marketing within luxury, fashion, home decor, or premium lifestyle brands.
  • Track record managing a $20M+ DTC P&L with proven ability to scale revenue profitably.
  • Deep experience in the US market, with international/UK e-commerce experience preferred.
  • Deep operational knowledge of modern e-commerce platforms (Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.), enterprise CRM/email platforms (Klaviyo, Iterable), and analytics suites (GA4, Triple Whale, Northbeam).
  • Hands-on expertise managing multi-million dollar performance budgets across paid media, search, and retention channels.
  • Strong visual sense and brand affinity; ability to provide constructive feedback to creative teams while maintaining strict performance goals.
  • Expert in financial modeling, attribution, cohort analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
