About the Role
The incumbent will be primarily responsible for account transfers. This is an existing vacancy.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming and outgoing transfer documents.
- Maintain SLAs of the Account Transfer Department, including adherence to regulatory body rules (e.g., CIRO rules).
- Communicate clearly in writing and orally with branches, Fidelity Clearing, Operational groups, and other financial institutions.
- Perform quality control, initiate, follow-up, and complete transfers, including Non-ATON transfer-ins.
- Provide clear, detailed communication to advisors regarding any rejected transfers.
- Review daily and weekly transfer-in and transfer-out reports provided by Management.
- Ensure outstanding transfers are communicated to management for timely resolution.
- Collaborate with various Operational groups (e.g., Recurring Events, Fees Billing) to ensure efficient processing of transfer-outs.
- Open and distribute Department mail.
- Answer the department's toll-free phone line.
- Administer the Department email box.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of Account Transfer experience.
- Clear written and oral communication skills.
- Courteous and dynamic customer approach.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Rigor and organization.
- Ability to multi-task and change focus based on daily volumes.
- Willingness to provide ideas and suggestions for service improvement.
- Overtime may be required; flexibility to assist with overtime as needed.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of Dataphile, ATON, CDS (Optional)
- Fundcom knowledge (an asset)
- Bilingualism (French and English) (an asset)
