About the Role

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate critical tier-0 backend services with 99.99%+ availability and security-sensitive data handling.
- Improve developer tooling.
- Design and implement robust, scalable infrastructure.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and execute production changes.
- Set up and operate infrastructure for decentralized distributed systems, including creating deploy pipelines.
- Build and harden custom Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) for EC2 instances.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for systems.
- Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization.
- Deliver value through collaboration with customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Three (3) years of software engineering or related experience.
- Three (3) years of experience in cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure.
- Three (3) years of experience in Go, Python or Java.
- Three (3) years of experience developing, maintaining and debugging distributed systems.
- Three (3) years of experience with Linux OS.
- Three (3) years of experience with metrics, alarms and dashboards.
- Three (3) years of experience with NoSQL databases.
- Three (3) years of experience handling critical incidents for production systems.
