  • Help prepare materials for interviews, presentations, proposals, and client events.
  • Assist with account research and background preparation for priority clients and target sectors.
  • Track market trends, competitive activity, and emerging retail developments.
  • Monitor industry news, tenant expansion activity, and retail market conditions.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Help compile market intelligence to support the business development team.
  • Coordinate with operations and preconstruction teams to support business development efforts.
  • Partner with marketing on retail-focused collateral, presentations, and award submissions.
  • Provide administrative and research support for strategic growth planning.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline records in CRM systems.
  • Provide regular activity updates to senior business development leadership.
  • Track outreach efforts and follow-up outcomes to support team reporting.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, client relations, real estate, or a related field; internship experience considered.
  • Interest in retail construction, tenant fit-outs, and commercial development strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership.
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow within the business development function.
