About the Role

The Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Physician to join our Medical Department. This is a key clinical leadership role responsible for delivering compassionate and quality medical care to residents in coordination with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of appropriate, adequate, compassionate, and quality medical care of Parker's residents in coordination with other members of the health care team.

Requirements

  • Two (2) or more years of experience as an Attending Physician in a hospital with a geriatric population or within a nursing home environment.
  • A medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • NYS Board certification in a primary care specialty.
  • Completion of residency in Internal Medicine.
  • Eligibility for hospital admitting privileges.
  • Clean and active license to practice medicine in New York State.
  • Proficient in SigmaCare or a similar Electronic Medical Record software.
