About the Role
The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a Clinical Orders Specialist with a background in community health, clinical orders, and medical coding to join their team in New Hyde Park, NY.
Responsibilities
- Timely processing of clinical orders for Certified Home Health Agency and Hospice Agency.
- Processing information from OASIS and Hospice's Health Information System.
- Overseeing timely orders and information management.
- Managing coding and billing processes for the agency.
Requirements
- 2-3 years+ of prior experience working in a Home Care, Hospice or similar community health setting.
- Prior experience/proficiency in NetSmart or another EMR (electronic medical record).
