About the Role

Orchestration Works is a new division focused on rapidly deploying AI and automation within the healthcare revenue cycle. This role will lead the application of AI to specific operational and clinical workflows, ensuring solutions are practical, effective, and validated by front-line users.

Responsibilities

  • Own the AI application practice for designing and building workflow-specific reasoning, prompts, agent architectures, and tool use.
  • Apply shared reasoning and agentic frameworks to prioritized revenue cycle problems like denials, coding, eligibility, and prior authorization.
  • Tune and evaluate models for specific initiatives using the platform's pipelines and evaluation standards.
  • Consume and drive the evolution of the enterprise AI Platform without duplication or parallel infrastructure.
  • Partner with the Head of Operator Engagement to ensure AI capabilities are validated by front-line teammates on real workflows.
  • Ensure per-initiative conformance to enterprise AI safety, evaluation standards, and guardrails.
  • Provide technical leadership to AI Engineers and Scientists within pods, including hands-on design, review, and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of AI/ML experience with progressive leadership responsibility, including leading applied AI or ML teams.
  • Proven track record of shipping applied AI products into production, moving teams from experimentation to deployed, measurable business outcomes.
  • Deep hands-on fluency with modern AI application patterns: large language models, agentic architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt and context engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
  • Experience operating within (or building on) an enterprise AI platform, including evaluation frameworks and safety guardrails.
  • Cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, and operations.
  • Communication skills to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must reside and be authorized to work within the United States.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Austin, Texas, or currently reside in the Austin area.
