About the Role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Controlling & Inventory – Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in a global business transformation initiative aimed at modernizing and harmonizing core finance operations. This role supports the design and implementation of future-state Finance processes as part of a major ERP (S4/Hana) deployment, enabling the transition from multiple legacy systems to a unified, standardized digital platform.

Responsibilities

  • Take a leading role in representing the finance function in cross-functional discussions relating to Controlling & Inventory (MAKE and R&D).
  • Support the Controlling & Inventory Finance Lead with the Global Finance Transformation Initiative, including all aspects of an ERP/S4Hana design, build & deployment for Controlling & Inventory Processes.
  • Collaborate with IMFT & IM Transcend Global Process Owners & functional teams to capture and define design requirements for Controlling & Inventory Processes.
  • Support in managing interdependencies with other transformational programs such as Signifi/Transact in the Controlling & Inventory areas.
  • Collaborate with Technical Product Owners (TPO) and System Integrator to ensure the Global Template is designed & built to meet business requirements utilizing the latest technology capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Global Process Owners to understand business requirements and capture them for the design process.
  • Collaborate with Finance Technical Process Owners (TPO) & System Integrator team in designing future Controlling & Inventory Processes.
  • Document future design as part of Global Template build.
  • Support TPO & System Integrator Teams in building the proposed design in S4/Hana.
  • Actively participate in Build Demos, review & provide feedback.
  • Ensure business requirements are being met in the build.
  • Collaborate closely with the Master Data team to ensure correct data set-up for Controlling & Inventory Processes.
  • Ensure processes built in the development system achieve business requirements and provide feedback to TPO’s & System Integrator Team.
  • Support the deployment team during testing cycles.
  • Support the deployment team during Hypercare.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a university degree is required, preferably in Finance or Economics.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Finance roles are required, preferably in supply chain, and/or a principal company environment and/or R&D.
  • Experience with Costing, Inventory & Plant Accounting in a Supply Chain or R&D role would be considered a great asset.
  • Experience with process development and improvement.
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to balance big picture with attention to detail.
  • Passionate to develop expertise in complex financial topics.
  • Agile mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate complex issues.
  • Team player and collaborative working style.
  • Experience with working in global / virtual environments is a plus.
  • Proven ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, and frequently changing environment.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder Management, including ability to influence and challenge.
  • Passion for driving change and ability to inspire business adoption of new processes and technology.
  • Expert knowledge of SAP ERP platform.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of digital tools (PowerQuery, PowerBI, …) is a plus.

Salary/Compensations

  • $94,000.00 - $162,150.00
