About the Role
Symphony is seeking driven, curious, and collaborative undergraduate or graduate students for its Summer Internship Program in NYC. Interns will work on impactful projects, gaining hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to finance and enterprise technology.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver an end-to-end summer project that solves a critical business or technical challenge.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, or technical feasibility studies to support product features and strategic decisions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to refine platform features or streamline internal processes.
- Assist in writing clean, scalable code, developing APIs, or improving backend/frontend workflows for our secure collaboration platform.
- Gather, organize, and analyze key operational or user engagement metrics to present actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Present your summer project, outcomes, and recommendations to Symphony leadership at the end of the program.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate (Junior or Senior) or Master’s degree program.
- Strong academic record in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a self-starter mindset.
- Proficiency with standard office tools (Google Workspace/MS Office).
