About the Role

Flintco is seeking a dedicated professional to manage the full recruitment cycle, from posting job openings to facilitating onboarding. This role is crucial in ensuring the company attracts and hires top talent to support its continued growth and success in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts the complete recruitment cycle from posting job openings to facilitating onboarding.
  • Writes and places advertisements for open positions.
  • Opens requisitions for new positions assigned by management and tracks candidates through applicant tracking systems.
  • Interviews and screens candidates.
  • Schedules and coordinates follow-up interviews with hiring managers and the HR team.
  • Schedules and coordinates pre-employment screenings and assessments.
  • Provides regular updates to hiring teams through weekly, monthly, or bi-weekly meetings.
  • Serves as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment journey, delivering a personalized experience.
  • Manages all applicants and coordinates with hiring managers through UKG to ensure an efficient recruitment process.
  • Leverages various recruiting channels, tools, and methods to increase candidate pipeline.
  • Supports a high requisition load with multiple hiring managers.
  • Manages requisitions, candidate record keeping, and compliance matters related to recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Maintains and builds partnerships with post-secondary schools, recruiters, temporary help agencies, and other organizations.
  • Maintains confidential employee records and personnel files.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategies, and employment law compliance.
  • Able to manage multiple requisitions, maintain confidentiality, and deliver a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

  • Occasionally, especially when managing multiple projects and during problematic opening and/or closing phases of projects, mental stress can be taxing.
  • May be required to work long hours for extended periods of time.
  • Employees who work in positions classified as “safety-sensitive” can be disciplined if they test positive for marijuana or its metabolites, even if they have a valid state medical marijuana license.
  • Flintco may also refuse to hire applicants for safety-sensitive jobs who test positive for marijuana as part of a pre-employment drug test, even if those applicants can produce a valid medical marijuana patient license.

Experience Level

  • 5+ years recruitment experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of direct recruiting experience managing all phases of the process.

Education Level

  • Bachelor's degree/diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent related experience.
