About the Role
As a network expert at Computacenter, you will transform your professional and personal skills into customer success by working with innovative topics, evaluating them in our Solution Center or directly in a Proof of Technology/Concept for our clients. You will advise, design, and implement sophisticated data center and cloud network projects in the areas of Cisco, Juniper, or Arista, as well as SDN automation platforms and Azure and AWS. As a technical project manager or architect, you will be the main point of contact for the client, keeping an eye on project costs and risks. You will work flexibly and independently, whether in our offices, at the client's site, or from home.
Responsibilities
- Work with enthusiasm on innovative topics, evaluating them in our Solution Center or directly in a Proof of Technology/Concept for our clients.
- Advise, design, and implement sophisticated data center and cloud network projects in the areas of Cisco, Juniper, or Arista, as well as SDN automation platforms and Azure and AWS.
- Act as the main point of contact for the client as a technical project manager or architect, keeping an eye on project costs and risks.
- Work flexibly and independently, whether in our offices, at the client's site, or from home.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in consulting, planning, and implementing data center network infrastructures.
- In-depth technological expertise in various data center network and automation technologies (primarily Cisco ACI, but experience with other manufacturers is also welcome).
- Enjoy working on adjacent topics such as virtualization, automation and orchestration, or cloud technologies.
- Convince with innovation, confident demeanor, and a sense of responsibility.
- Ideally, possess scripting skills (e.g., with Python) and utilize the advantages of open APIs for your work.
