About the Role
This role focuses on developing expertise in DevSecOps or Application Security within IT Consulting. The program offers a three-month intensive training period with practical exercises, mentorship, and opportunities to earn relevant certifications.
Responsibilities
- Learn to secure DevOps environments, including container security, hardening, security tool implementation, security check automation, security monitoring setup, vulnerability management, and secrets management.
- Apply tools for Application Security Testing (e.g., SAST, SCA, DAST, IAST).
- Remediate security vulnerabilities in software before they can be exploited.
- Promote necessary Application Security awareness.
- Acquire foundational knowledge of common cloud platform technologies, Infrastructure as Code deployments, and automation.
- Implement and enhance cloud-native environments according to security best practices.
- Work flexibly and independently, whether in offices, at client sites, or from home.
- Collaborate actively within agile teams with other consultants.
- Obtain relevant certifications for common technologies and focus manufacturers during the training phase.
Requirements
- Possess an IT background with professional and project experience.
- Experience in the DevOps world or application development, with a desire to enhance security skills.
- Alternatively, have two years of practical project experience in security.
- Demonstrate initiative, security awareness, and an independent work style.
- Completed IT degree or vocational training.
- Experience with Linux, programming, or scripting.
- A desire for continuous development, understanding technologies, and investigating issues thoroughly.
