About the Role

This role is responsible for driving the development and implementation of an integrated marketing strategy to enhance investor engagement, promote Golub Capital's investment capabilities, and elevate the Firm's brand globally. The position collaborates with senior members of the Investor Partners Group, Sponsor Finance Team, and Firm leadership to create sales enablement programs and content that support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to develop and manage annual marketing plans, including focus areas, goals, KPIs, and budgets.
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing plans that resonate with specific audiences in partnership with senior leaders and IPG business lines.
  • Support investment teams to increase visibility of capabilities and create opportunities to connect with Sponsor Finance clients.
  • Ensure marketing program KPIs align with business objectives.
  • Deliver Gold Standard results and client service for partners in IPG and Firm business leaders.
  • Support the development and implementation of product capability messaging and content for investor events, speaking engagements, and campaigns.
  • Cultivate a strong understanding of the private credit market, the Firm’s clients, and investment products.
  • Develop and maintain core messaging for web, email, and written content supporting channel priorities.
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative reporting on program progress and effectiveness, recommending data-driven adjustments.
  • Stay current on industry best practices, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape in private credit.
  • Apply creativity and analytics to develop new marketing initiatives, processes, and modes of investor engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on the Marketing Team and Corporate Affairs Team to develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required.
  • 10+ years of experience managing cross-channel investor marketing programs at a financial institution or asset manager.
  • Experience marketing alternative strategies to investors (ideally private equity or credit).
  • Understanding of private asset fundraising and brand building functions.
  • Ability to develop investor marketing programs tied to business goals and KPIs.
  • Adept at understanding various investment approaches and working with stakeholders to create a differentiated narrative.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple business partners, including senior salespeople.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Familiarity with CMS systems (e.g., Seismic) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI tools in day-to-day work, with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, limitations, and appropriate use of AI generated outputs.
  • Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture.
