About the Role
As a Partner on our service counters, you'll demonstrate your knowledge and passion for food, feeling proud of its ethical sourcing and recommending recipes. You'll build lasting customer relationships, maximizing sales and profit. All training, including food safety and hygiene, will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for your own food counter ensuring the highest presentation and hygiene standards.
- Stay on top of stock levels, ensuring products are available for customers.
- Exercise care when working with open food, following all due diligence and health & safety protocols.
- Help to reduce food wastage.
- Maintain knowledge of new products and understand Waitrose's food values.
- Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks.
- Handle raw meat, including cutting, trimming, and preparing for display.
- Handle raw fish, including chopping, gutting, descaling, and cleaning.
Requirements
- Communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.
- Ability to meet location requirements.
- Ability to work the specified hours.

- £14.55 per hour (£14.80 after 90 days)
- Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour for time worked between 22:00 - 06:00
