About the Role
The Jewish Board’s Adult Residential Division housing programs empower adults with mental health and social service needs by providing person-centered, safe, supportive housing that fosters independence, dignity and community integration. Staff use a non-judgmental, harm-reduction approach to guide residents in creating and meeting recovery goals, developing independent living skills, and living healthily and securely. Services are delivered with compassion, respect, and professional excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage all interactions with clients professionally and cordially, whether in-person or over the phone.
- Notify appropriate parties of next steps, follow-up needs, or call outcomes.
- Document services provided via info note in client chart where appropriate or required.
- Manage the phone system.
- Engage with Landlord to address office issues.
- Perform data entry and handle routine office administrative tasks or program errands.
- Upload documents in clients Electronic Record.
- Ensure site maintains all regulatory compliance posters/signage.
- Upload all documents related to Community Advisory Board Meetings and High-Risk Documents.
- Assist with event planning and décor.
- Assist with program mail and ensure mail is provided to the correct program staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BA in a related healthcare field or a minimum of two years of related work experience is preferred.
- Ability to work well with others and as part of a team.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Experience working under pressure in a multi-tasking, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with clients, potential clients, colleagues, supervisors, and other Jewish Board staff.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Significant experience providing excellent customer service.
- Able to read data and documents, including spreadsheets, reports, and Electronic Health Records, in printed form and on computer screens.
- Able to input data into the Electronic Health Record.
- Limited applications of manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Regularly required to speak clearly and hear the spoken word well.
- Regularly required to physically operate routine office equipment such as telephones, computers, etc.
- Regularly required to utilize near vision ability and to read data and documents, including spreadsheets, reports, and Electronic Health Records in printed form and on computer screens.
Skills
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Use of an Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Zoom.
- Microsoft Teams.
- Netsmart/myAvatar.
- Tableau Dashboards.
- Willingness to attend trainings to increase knowledge and learn databases and programs.
Education Level
- BA in related healthcare field or minimum two years related work experience preferred
