About the Role

We are seeking a passionate, growth-oriented team player to join our Accounting team. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, control, and continuous improvement of corporate accounting and finance activities. The position leads monthly reporting, oversees accounting for overhead and A&P spend, and ensures disciplined close execution. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting fundamentals with corporate finance, planning, analysis, and people leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, develop, and mentor direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal controls, accounting policies, procedures, SOPs, review processes, and segregation of duties.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial results, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.
  • Lead Corporate Accounting and Finance activities for SG&A (Overhead) and Advertising & Promotional (A&P) expenditures.
  • Own the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes for Overhead and A&P spend.
  • Serve as active participant for internal and external audits related to assigned areas.
  • Oversee the Company's Travel & Expense (T&E) program.
  • Manage Corporate Insurance activities including renewals, broker relationships, and certificates of insurance.
  • Support Transfer Pricing accounting activities.
  • Lead Intercompany accounting and reconciliation activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements.
  • Serve as a business partner to Marketing, Human Resources, IT, Commercial Finance, and other departments.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to team members and business partners.
  • Progressively develop deeper expertise within SAP, including advanced accounting processes and reporting functionality.
  • Assist with special projects, business initiatives, system implementations, and ad hoc financial analyses.
