About the Role
You will set the agenda instead of working through a finished editorial plan. You will decide which content to place in the industry, writing for decision-makers in the automotive trade through trade media, white papers, and dealer events that you conceptualize yourself.
Responsibilities
- You decide which topics to cover throughout the year and are responsible for topic planning.
- You develop white papers, market analyses, and trade articles based on our platform data.
- You build our media presence: establish PR contacts, offer topics, and place articles.
- You ensure CarOnSale is visible when dealers research, in search engines, and in AI answers.
- You manage the content pipeline independently: topics, formats, timings.
- You plan and execute dealer events, from conception to on-site implementation.
- You coordinate the distribution of your content with CRM and New Media.
- You report directly to the Principal Marketing.
Requirements
- You write professionally for a trade audience, for example from B2B content marketing, trade editorial, journalism, corporate communications, or agency.
- You explain complex topics understandably and back up your statements.
- You know how to write for a specialist target group without sounding like advertising.
- You work independently and maintain an overview even with multiple projects.
- AI-affine working method: You actively use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot in your daily work.
- German at C2 level and English at C1 level.
