About the Role
Power-Flo Technologies is seeking a full-time warehouse associate to join their New Hyde Park team. This role involves performing basic warehouse duties, managing inventory, and assisting with shipments.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic warehouse work including removing sold parts from stock, placing received parts on shelves, processing items for shipment, receiving, driving, and organizing.
- Pull and stage orders for shipment.
- Organize inventory.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean driver's license to operate company vehicles.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and occasionally operate delivery vehicles (box trucks and vans).
- Safely and efficiently pick up and deliver orders.
Requirements
- 1+ years of warehouse experience required.
- Current, valid, and clean NYS driver’s license (7 years' clean driving record) to operate company vehicles as needed (no CDL required).
- Experience with cycle counting, consolidation, and inventory management.
- Ability to obtain & maintain DOT certification.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and push or pull over 100 pounds.
- Ability to follow processes, procedures, and policies.
- Ability to work well independently and on a team, have a great attitude, and be willing to learn.
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written form with functional English skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Forklift experience a plus.
- Experience with UPS, DHL, and/or FedEx a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
