About the Role

As a Front of House Manager, you will act as an ambassador for the brand and property, providing strategic leadership to the Front of House team to drive exceptional guest satisfaction and achieve departmental financial targets. You will oversee night operations, ensure compliance with company standards, and manage staff development and resource planning.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an ambassador of the brand and the property, embodying our values and service standards at all times
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Front of House team, fostering an engaged, motivated workforce committed to excellence
  • Drive exceptional guest satisfaction through the implementation of service standards and by leading by example
  • Deliver strong operating results and contribute to the achievement of departmental and property-wide financial targets
  • Assume full responsibility for the Night operation of the department, ensuring seamless service delivery during all hours
  • Maintain rigorous compliance with Company standards, policies, and procedures across all Front of House operations
  • Recruit, induct, train, and develop team members to ensure they possess the skills and knowledge required for their roles
  • Manage staff scheduling and resource planning to optimise operational efficiency and guest service levels
  • Oversee guest relations and complaint resolution, ensuring all concerns are addressed professionally and promptly
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, and security protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
  • Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews to maintain high standards and support continuous improvement
  • Liaise effectively with other departments to ensure coordinated service delivery and operational synergy
  • Prepare and present regular reports on departmental performance, staffing, and key metrics to senior management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Front of House management role, or a successful track record in a similar hospitality position demonstrating readiness to step up into a management capacity
  • Demonstrated expertise in Opera Cloud or similar property management systems, with the ability to champion training and support other team members in system utilisation
  • Strong leadership and team management experience, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent customer service orientation with a track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimisation
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and security compliance requirements within the hospitality sector
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Hospitality management qualification or relevant professional certification
  • Experience managing night operations or shift-based teams
  • Proficiency with additional hospitality technology platforms and systems
  • Experience in performance management and staff appraisals
  • Knowledge of rostering and resource planning best practices
