About the Role
The Pharmacy Technician has a key role in the operations of the pharmacy and helps to ensure that all patients/customers are assisted with their health care needs. Under the guidance and supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for all aspects of preparing, processing, and dispensing prescriptions.
Responsibilities
- Preparing the prescription
- Entry of information
- Setting up medication for review
- Providing service to customers at the point-of-sale
- Ordering, stocking, and monitoring inventory
- General administrative needs of the team onsite
- Assisting with deliveries as needed
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of customer service experience in a professional or retail setting required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Detailed data entry experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and develop relationships both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify problems, as well as recommend and/or implement effective solutions.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, including the ability to perform mathematical computations.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work varying schedules between the hours of 8am to 7pm.
- Schedule may include Saturdays.
- Position requires long periods of standing and significant walking.
- Ability to meet all requirements to drive a CDPHP company vehicle, including a motor vehicle background check.

Salary/Compensations
- $20.00/hr. - $28.00/hr.
