About the Role
Execute precise aerial tree care and removals through the expert application of climbing, rigging, and chainsaw techniques, ensuring the structural integrity of the canopy and the absolute safety of the ground crew and property.
Responsibilities
- Perform strenuous manual labor in varying weather conditions and maintain "work-positioning" for extended periods.
- Constantly monitor the "Drop Zone" (DZ), ground crew, power lines, and structural obstacles.
- Perform daily inspection and basic field maintenance of chainsaws, power pruners, and climbing hardware.
- Strictly adhere to ANSI Z133 safety standards for arboricultural operations.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, sustain high-intensity cardio, and maintain "three points of contact" while working at heights.
- Ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Proven understanding of ANSI Z133 safety standards.
- Ability to complete an Aerial Rescue training module.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
- Ability to complete "Saw Safety" training, covering reactive forces.
- Ability to pass the Pre-Climber examination.
