About the Role

As a PKI Consultant, you will strengthen our Professional Services team and support clients in securely designing modern IT infrastructures. With your profound PKI know-how, you will guide companies and authorities from strategic consulting and architecture concepts to the automation of certificate processes. You will work across technologies, practically, and on future-oriented security solutions.

Responsibilities

Support clients with profound PKI know-how in establishing their IT infrastructure in a modern and secure way.
Provide architecture and strategy consulting, create manufacturer-independent rough concepts, and support product selection.
Assist colleagues with the implementation of PKI solutions if needed.
Advise on the implementation of various certificate use cases, e.g., for email encryption, 802.1X, or certificate-based authentication.
Contribute know-how to areas beyond classic PKI projects for companies and authorities, e.g., in the DevOps environment or in IoT projects.

Requirements

Proficiency with at least one PKI product (e.g., ADCS, Nexus, or EJBCA) and practical experience with OCSP responders, CMP, SCEP, or ACME.
Very good IT infrastructure knowledge, e.g., with server operating systems, Active Directory, network.
Enjoy delving into technical details and conceptually working on PKI design and definition of certificate processes or authoring a Certificate Policy.
Very good German and English language skills.
