About the Role
As a Senior Consultant w/m/d Infrastructure Security – Fortinet, you will advise enterprise clients on the design, development, and implementation of modern security architectures, focusing on Fortinet Security Fabric, SASE, and Zero Trust architectures. You will guide projects from presales through workshops and architecture designs to successful implementation, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor. Responsibilities
- Consulting on Network Security, SASE, SSE, and Zero-Trust architectures
- Conducting customer workshops and providing architecture and strategy consulting
- Creating technical solution designs and implementation concepts
- Technical responsibility for bids, tenders, and customer projects
- Planning and implementing sophisticated Fortinet solutions
- Supporting PoCs, migrations, and transformation projects
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in Infrastructure Security and IT Security
- In-depth knowledge of the Fortinet Security Fabric with very good knowledge of FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, SASE, SSE, and ZTNA
- Experience in designing and implementing complex security solutions in the enterprise environment
- Very good network knowledge in routing, switching, and VPN
- Strong presales competence with experience in customer workshops, bid processes, and tenders
- Confident demeanor in technical consulting for enterprise clients
- Excellent communication skills, professional customer and service orientation
- Independent and structured way of working
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and continuous learning
- Ideally, basic knowledge of Python, REST APIs, Git, or CI/CD for integration and automation of security solutions
- Very good German language skills and good English language skills
