About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Enterprise Architect to work closely with CISO and CTO teams to create a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap for Cyber security. This role will support Solution Architecture and Delivery Teams to deliver desired outcomes, offering meaningful challenges and room for growth. You will engage with customers on both technical and business levels, contributing to diverse business projects and collaborating with dedicated colleagues in a strategic digital transformation journey.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and evolution of Cyber Tech Strategies adopted by the CISO and other stakeholders.
- Create and maintain current and target views of Enterprise Architecture to deliver business and technology strategies.
- Support business and technology change through capability roadmaps that inform Portfolio prioritisation.
- Establish and assure effective architecture governance and tooling for Solution Architecture and other GIS teams.
- Work closely with the Solution Architecture function to ensure Tech Strategy viability and that new solutions can be architected within EA Principles/Guardrails.
- Support annual and quarterly business and portfolio planning processes to ensure initiatives and plans align with agreed tech strategies.
- Ensure EA tool information is up-to-date with required breadth and depth.
- Support the development of architecture tools and techniques for the EA practice.
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Cyber Enterprise Architect.
- Track record of creating and embedding technology strategies within a business domain or large-scale transformation program.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business terminology.
- Ability to produce quality EA models and artifacts that drive effective decision making.
- Ability to demonstrate alignment of technical decisions with business goals and value delivery.
- Continuous learning mindset to keep pace with industry and market trends.
- Ability to create tools and content to aid the development of the emerging EA practice.
- Experience with structured methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe) and system development lifecycles (e.g., waterfall, agile, DevOps, DevSecOps).
- Ability to build trust and respect as a thought leader to influence technology and business leaders.
- Motivated by leading and driving the team to deliver upon the business strategy.
- Technology neutral approach, unbiased towards specific technology or vendor choices, focused on value and outcomes.
- Ability to propose and effectively estimate proposed solution commercials.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
- Proven analytical, planning, organisational, and technology skills.
- SC clearance or SC clearance eligible.
