About the Role

This administrative role supports the Business Hub by maintaining finance, performance, and administrative systems within specified timescales. It is a rotational, non-operational position with no line management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake transactional activity associated with the Business Hub, including processing paperwork and data input for performance, audit, compliance, finance, information assurance, MQPL, HMIP visits, subject access requests, official correspondence, complaints, risk register, IMB, action plans, self-audit programme, procuring goods, vehicle maintenance, PIN phone system, staff uniform ordering, bank signatory duties, fixed and local assets, accounts receivable, inventory, WRVS, canteen administration, and IT administration.
  • Organize, produce, and maintain accurate records for the area of work.
  • Act as a contact point for all communications to the team, prioritizing and distributing them appropriately.
  • Complete monitoring returns for the area of work.
  • Input requisitions into the finance database and process them for the defined area of work.
  • Coordinate awareness sessions for the area of work.
  • Prepare paperwork for manager checking, conducting initial checks as required.
  • Correspond with relevant stakeholders and agencies to ensure adequate information sharing.
  • Maintain and check establishment databases, manual filing systems, and logs of information, responding within agreed timescales and producing reports.
  • Collate information relating to relevant Service Delivery Indicators (SDIs).
  • Act as secretary to meetings, including organizing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing action points.

Requirements

  • Ability to fulfill all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English or Welsh.
  • All candidates are subject to security and identity checks prior to taking up post.
  • All external candidates are subject to a 6-month probation period.
