About the Role

Psychology Services Group is developing a specialist treatment management service to support the delivery of the accredited programme Building Choices and other rehabilitative activities in prisons. This role involves quality oversight, facilitation, and delivery of accredited programmes and interventions addressing offending behaviour, including those for individuals with learning difficulties. The position offers management through the psychology line and support for professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Quality oversight, facilitation, and delivery of Accredited Programmes and related interventions in custody which address offending behaviour.
  • Provision of moderate and high intensity programmes in group or individual formats.
  • Provision for those presenting with learning difficulties and challenges.

Requirements

  • Written and Spoken English
  • Evidence of Experience
  • All candidates are subject to security and identity checks prior to taking up post.
  • All external candidates are subject to 6 months probation.
  • All staff are required to declare whether they are a member of a group or organisation which the HMPPS considers to be racist.

Skills

  • Evidenced ability to maintain and uphold accredited programme standards, in line with the evidence for effective interventions.
