About the Role
This internship role is for students enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution with full-time student status. You will observe and assist the Social Media Marketing team, supporting the development and execution of client social media and marketing campaigns. As a Paid Intern, you will manage online advertisements, ensure successful planning and execution of paid media projects, and contribute to company growth through paid media strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and optimize digital campaigns from conception to launch
- Create User-Generated Content Videos
- Work cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals
- Provide actionable insights into campaign performance to stakeholders
- Define, measure, and evaluate paid media KPIs
- Build media buys for ad platforms and oversee daily execution of paid media
- Oversee and manage the overall paid media budget
- Conduct keyword and website research, ad grouping, and audience targeting
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies
- Research promotional opportunities
- Write copy and draft social media posts
- Moderate content and manage social media comments
- Monitor activity on social networking sites
- Create social media audits for clients
- Manage and grow client accounts
- Post client blogs to their websites
- Build accounts for social channels
- Perform community management for clients
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a full-time, Canadian post-secondary program with a focus on social media, digital media, communications, journalism or marketing
- Must be enrolled in September
- Must have full-time student status
- Must be a Canadian resident, Canadian citizen, or have refugee status
