About the Role

Join a customer-focused team at Farm Credit East, a leading provider of loans and advisory services to agricultural businesses in the northeast. This role promotes portfolio growth through value-add interactions and a consultative lending approach, ensuring sustainability for both customers and the Association.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day customer interactions and loan requests within the designated marketplace and region.
  • Perform proactive portfolio management by analyzing industry trends, market data, and customer knowledge.
  • Serve as the lead for customer-facing activities, collaborating with a team including a Mortgage Assistant and CLP Loan Coordinator.
  • Create and maintain a documented 360-degree view of the customer in the core application.
  • Collaborate with teammates to generate cross-selling results and a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Provide functional guidance to Mortgage Assistants, Underwriting, Collateral Analysts, CLP Loan Coordinators, and other roles.
  • Meet with customers to review financials, propose loan structures, evaluate pricing, and address objectives.
  • Achieve growth targets through business development activities.
  • Seek and vet traditional and non-traditional opportunities, including rural home and agricultural requests.
  • Prioritize high value-add interactions with customers through active relationships and sound understanding.
  • Promote the FCE and Country Living brand in the region.
  • Build and nurture Centers of Influence to generate new referrals.
  • Utilize the 360-degree customer view to drive cross-selling opportunities and internal referrals.
  • Develop expertise within Ag segments to serve as a Trusted Advisor.
  • Adopt and utilize new processes, procedures, and digital tools to deliver a high-level customer experience.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, marketing, agriculture, communications, or related field.

  • $60,000 - $95,000
