About the Role
We are seeking a Creative Director to lead content strategy, creation, and execution within The Creative Studio. This role involves managing a portfolio of B2B technology clients, transforming complex challenges into effective content programs, leading a team, and serving as a senior client contact.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of integrated content strategies aligned with client business objectives, brand positioning, and communications plans.
- Translate complex client challenges into clear content roadmaps, covering channel mix, formats, messaging architecture, and measurement frameworks.
- Write briefs for creatives and guide work from concept to delivery with constructive feedback.
- Act as the final quality check for client-facing work, protecting strong ideas and pushing back on substandard content.
- Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, leading strategic reviews and roadmap sessions.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of multi-market content programs, ensuring accountability for timelines, budgets, quality, and resourcing.
- Line manage and mentor Account Managers, Senior Account Managers, and Executives.
- Collaborate with PR, SEO, Strategy, DX, Paid Media, and international teams.
- Own the commercial performance of the portfolio, including scoping, pricing, and forecasting.
- Partner with new business teams to pitch and grow accounts.
- Define KPIs, oversee performance reporting, and champion a test-and-learn approach.
- Introduce new ideas, formats, and technologies into client programs.
- Contribute to Clarity's profile through speaking engagements, authored content, case studies, and award entries.
Requirements
- Significant experience in content, social, or digital marketing within an agency or consultancy.
- Experience leading large or complex accounts.
- A strong creative eye with the ability to brief, critique, and sign off on copy, design, video, and motion.
- Proven track record of leading senior client relationships, shaping strategy, and growing revenue.
- Strong understanding of content ecosystems (owned, earned, paid), SEO, social platforms, and measurement.
- Demonstrable experience leading teams, coaching talent, and setting high standards for delivery.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to engage and challenge senior stakeholders.
- Calm and assured demeanor in difficult conversations, capable of managing issues and protecting client confidence.
- Highly organized and commercially minded, balancing creativity with rigor and quality with efficiency.
- Demonstrated, hands-on experience with AI tools for effective, efficient, data-driven, and innovative solutions.
- Advocacy for ethical and responsible AI use, ensuring transparency, data privacy, and trust.
