About the Role
Soccer Shots is seeking energetic and enthusiastic coaches who love working with children ages 2-8 to lead fun and engaging soccer sessions. This is a flexible part-time position with opportunities for advancement within a growing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead fun, engaging soccer sessions for children ages 2-8
- Create a positive, energetic environment where every child feels successful
- Follow the Soccer Shots curriculum while adapting to the needs of each group
- Build positive relationships with children, families, teachers, and school partners
- Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to lead
- Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with the coaching and leadership team
- Grow into additional coaching, training, or leadership responsibilities over time
Requirements
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and comfortable working with young children
- Dependable, responsible, and organized
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between local program locations
- Comfortable being active and engaging with children for extended periods
- A willingness to learn and grow with the program
- Flexible availability and the ability to commit to a consistent schedule
- Weekend availability is welcome, but candidates with broader availability throughout the week are preferred
- Provide typical weekly availability when applying
