About the Role
Manage the end-to-end accounting for complex revenue arrangements, review agreements, evaluate revenue recognition policies, develop appropriate recognition processes, and coordinate with stakeholders for accuracy. This role is a key resource for assessing accounting treatment of new and evolving revenue transactions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end revenue recognition process for complex revenue arrangements.
- Design and refine processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in revenue recognition.
- Identify and evaluate new revenue transactions, determining appropriate accounting treatment and communicating impacts.
- Research, analyze, and document all significant technical accounting matters.
- Manage specific elements of the Company's quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Act as an advisor to executives on technical accounting questions.
- Establish new accounting policies and assess existing ones.
- Evaluate new accounting standards and pronouncements, developing and implementing adoption plans.
- Perform the Company's annual impairment analysis for goodwill and intangible assets.
- Collaborate with external auditors regarding significant technical accounting matters.
- Support additional projects as needed.
- Provide exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably a mix of Big 4 public accounting and accounting in private industry.
- Experience in revenue accounting, including review of technical accounting for significant revenue contracts.
- Active CPA license.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
