About the Role

Sizewell C is seeking an experienced Interface Oversight Project Manager to coordinate interfaces across major delivery programmes for a significant infrastructure project. This role involves working with various teams and stakeholders to ensure effective management, alignment, and communication of interfaces and dependencies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate interfaces across major delivery programmes
  • Drive collaboration between teams, functions and stakeholders
  • Monitor risks, dependencies and delivery performance
  • Produce interface reporting and performance insights
  • Support governance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build key relationships across the project and influence senior stakeholders
  • Work closely with other teams to enhance interface management processes
  • Support the future growth of the team, including recruiting Interface Engineers
  • Participate in recruitment activities, interviewing new team members as the Interface Management function continues to grow.

Requirements

  • Experience on major infrastructure, construction, engineering or capital projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building ability
  • Experience working within complex project environments
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Resilient, proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent professional experience
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Must meet criteria for Security Vetting, ordinarily requiring UK residency for at least three of the past five years.

  • Experience within a regulated environment

About the Company

  • Sizewell C’s business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk.
  • The Company is maturing to meet all these requirements.
  • Sizewell C is economically regulated by OFGEM under the RAB model similar to other UK electricity distribution networks and Thames Tideway.
  • Sizewell C construction strategy is to replicate the design of Hinkley Point C, using the majority of the same supply chain, but innovating in the way it is delivered to achieve savings in time and cost of around 20%.
