About the Role
Solactive AG is seeking an ambitious, fast-learning analyst with a passion for financial markets and a quantitative background, particularly interested in the ETF space. The role involves staying on top of market developments and driving progress within the company.
Responsibilities
- Establish Indicative Net Asset Value Calculations (iNAV/IOPV) for ETF/ETN in all asset classes using Solactive’s pricing platform.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Portfolio Composition Files (PCF).
- Ensure and supervise IOPV calculations daily.
- Monitor the ETF business.
- Optimize existing operational processes with Python.
- Develop and implement new processes with Python for handling financial markets data.
- Handle customer inquiries and communicate with data providers, stock exchanges, and distributors.
- Coordinate, set up, and transition workflows and tasks with operational units in Hong Kong, Germany, and Canada.
Requirements
- Academic degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar.
- Relevant work experience in the finance or technology industry.
- Affinity for technology and financial markets.
- Proficient in Python programming.
- Ideally experience with version control tools (e.g. Git) and databases (SQL).
- Innovative mindset and hands-on approach.
- Highly structured and motivated.
- Strong analytical skills, effective problem-solving mentality, and team spirit.
- Very good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
