About the Role

The Diligent Business Development Representative I (BDR I) is responsible for driving company growth by identifying new business opportunities through prospecting and engaging with potential clients. This role focuses on building outbound pipeline and generating interest as a brand ambassador for Diligent products, requiring conversational excellence and in-depth product knowledge to meet outbound targets. It's an opportunity to join a market-leading, rapidly growing business with a competitive commission structure and potential for career progression in corporate software sales.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise in using lead generation tools (e.g., Cold calling, LinkedIn, Outreach, Sales Force, ZoomInfo) to extract contacts and create targeted prospect lists.
  • Conduct sales development best practices via email, phone, and social activities to connect with new prospects.
  • Utilize targeted questions to knowledgeably qualify decision-makers.
  • Build interest and influence opportunities with new prospects.
  • Coordinate meetings/demonstrations on account executive calendars and log activities in CRM.
  • Meet or exceed targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Assist others with techniques to drive overall team performance.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Arabic language proficiency is preferred.
  • Strong passion for a sales-focused, target-driven environment.
  • Solid understanding of the sales process, including marketing, prospecting, cold calling, and managing the sales cycle.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate the product’s unique value proposition and quickly gain in-depth product knowledge.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a track record of engaging and influencing senior-level executives.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • High energy with a positive and can-do attitude.
