About the Role
The Rochester City School District (RCSD) is seeking candidates to coach for a sport. This role requires a deep understanding of the sport's current practices, rules, principles, and technical skills, along with the ability to recruit and sustain a program. The position involves 10-20 hours per week, dependent on meets and practices.
Responsibilities
- Hours 10-20 hrs./week, meets/practices dependent
Requirements
- Candidates must have a detailed knowledge of current practices, rules, principles and technical skills of the sport they are applying to coach for.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to recruit and sustain a program.
- Proof of NYS fingerprinting clearance is required
Skills
- First Aid
- CPR
- AED
- Concussion Management
- DASA certifications
- NYS Coaching certification
- internship for the particular sport
- temporary or permanent NYS coaching license for the particular sport
