About the Role

Responsibilities
- Serve as a Basketball Coach (JV/Freshman - Head/Assistant) at STEAM High School.
- Develop student athletes' skills, discipline, enjoyment of play, and dedication.
- Prepare student athletes for higher levels of competition.
- Stress the development of academics, goal setting, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship at the high school level.
Requirements
- New York State Coaching Certification
- Valid First Aid course
- Valid Adult CPR certification
- Workshop - Child Abuse Identification
- Workshop - School Violence Intervention and Prevention
- Workshop - Dignity For All Students Act (DASA)
- Fingerprint Clearance
- School District Recommendation
- Pass a fingerprint-based background check ($102.50 cost to candidate)
