About the Role
Clearwater at The Arboretum is a premier luxury senior living community in Austin, TX, seeking a full-time Server to join their team and create positive dining experiences for residents.
Responsibilities
- Take written food orders and serve meals to residents, family members, and guests professionally and courteously.
- Assist residents with meal/menu selections as needed.
- Use proper etiquette while waiting tables, serving from the left and clearing dishes between courses.
- Review residents’ dietary needs as outlined by the Culinary Director.
- Track resident meal attendance accurately.
- Ensure residents are greeted and seated properly, making efforts to welcome new residents.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary dining area, complying with food handling and serving procedures.
- Display tact and friendliness when interacting with residents, associates, and guests.
- Clean and reset tables, returning dishes to the kitchen.
- Clean and set up dining and food service areas, including stocking condiments.
- Cooperate and assist with other kitchen and dining services to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Assist with breaking down deliveries, putting away stock, and washing dishes as needed.
- Deliver meals to resident rooms and collect trays after meal service.
- Comply with Clearwater standards and regulations for safe and efficient operations.
- Maintain a positive and professional image, including proper uniform and grooming.
- Represent Clearwater principles and core values daily.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Background clearances as required by government regulations.
