About the Role

Green Mountain Electric Supply is seeking a Full-Time Shipping Lead (2nd Shift) for their expanding Electrical Supplies business in Kirkwood, NY. This role involves assisting the Shipping Supervisor with daily tasks, training new employees, and acting as a point of contact for staff.

Responsibilities

Assists with daily tasks including picking, checking, verifying orders, loading trucks, and putting stock away.
Trains new employees on basic job functions within the Shipping Department.
Serves as the first line of communication between staff and the Shipping Supervisor for issue resolution.
Audits associate orders to verify accuracy and routing.
Addresses inaccuracies or errors.
Responds to and assists associates with inventory discrepancies, locating product or supplies, and inquiries.
Acts as a point of contact and assumes department responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor/manager.
Leads associates in basic warehouse maintenance, including cleaning and restocking.
Performs all essential duties and responsibilities of the Shipping Associate position.

Requirements
