About the Role
The AC Hotel Times Square is seeking an experienced Night Auditor to join an award-winning team. This role is eligible for transportation and food stipends.
Responsibilities
- Execute guest reservation, check-in, check-out, payment, and service procedures in compliance with brand quality assurance standards.
- Maintain a friendly and hospitable attitude with guests and team members, being present at the desk during all hours.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of local attractions and amenities to provide service to guests.
- Ensure collections, including credit card and direct bill, are executed in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain proper control over keys, safe deposits, and all company and guest property.
- Ensure rates are optimized by monitoring competitor occupancy and rates.
- Ensure that all required documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Properly quote daily rates and issue credits.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Must possess the Fire Life Safety Director License (FLSD) or successfully complete the class and obtain the certification within six (6) months.
- Proficient in administration of applicable property management systems.
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations.
- Experience in accurate cash handling and credit cards.
- Experience in maintaining security of confidential information.
- Ability to pass certification tests required to meet brand standards.
- Experience working with a computer, especially data entry.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Maintain a customer focus and prioritize guests’ needs.
- Be approachable and encourage effective communication with guests and fellow team members.
- Comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
