About the Role
Serve as the strategic communications partner to the Vice President, Brand Marketing & Communications, Global. Define and elevate the communications positioning of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and the wider brand portfolio, ensuring a consistent and differentiated brand voice. Own the global messaging architecture, communications management, thought leadership platforms, media governance, and brand health reporting to strengthen Rosewood’s reputation and advance its purpose-driven narrative.
Responsibilities
- Drive communications positioning across Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the wider brand portfolio, business units, and strategic initiatives, translating business priorities into impactful brand communications strategies.
- Develop and maintain the global brand messaging architecture, including core narratives, audience-specific messaging, proof points, and tone of voice.
- Establish and uphold global brand communications standards, providing strategic guidance and ensuring consistency across flagship communications moments.
- Lead Rosewood’s brand thought leadership platform and purpose narrative, collaborating with cross-functional communications partners to amplify the brand’s voice across luxury, culture, and lifestyle conversations.
- Oversee global press and communications strategy, including messaging frameworks, press materials, brand announcements, campaign communications, and awards submissions.
- Partner with Corporate Communications on brand reputation matters, supporting issues communications, narrative development, and proactive communications planning.
- Govern the global PR, media, and ambassador database while managing selected agency relationships to ensure alignment with the brand strategy and messaging architecture.
- Lead brand health reporting and insight generation, transforming data into actionable recommendations that strengthen brand equity, communications positioning, and future planning.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in brand, corporate, or strategic communications, ideally gained within a global, multi-market environment.
- Skilled at turning complex or ambiguous challenges into clear strategies, compelling narratives, and actionable communications plans.
- Experience developing brand messaging frameworks and managing communications across multiple stakeholder groups and markets.
- Confident leading media relations initiatives, issues communications, agency partnerships, and communications governance programs.
- Understand how to leverage brand health insights, market intelligence, and performance data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Thrive in matrixed organizations and build strong, collaborative relationships across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
- An influential communicator who adapts approach to different audiences while maintaining clarity, credibility, and impact.
- Combine strategic thinking with initiative, adaptability, and commercial awareness to deliver meaningful outcomes for both the brand and the business.
