About the Role
This role focuses on enabling AI adoption and driving productivity gains across the business by empowering employees and leaders to effectively use AI in their daily work. It requires a hands-on approach, staying at the forefront of AI advancements, and a passion for building capabilities in others and reimagining how work is done.
Responsibilities
- Design and drive practical AI upskilling across client-facing and enablement teams, integrating AI capability into onboarding and ongoing development.
- Identify opportunities to reimagine work processes by leveraging new AI capabilities, and collaborate with teams to implement these changes.
- Identify, prioritize, and deliver automation initiatives to maximize the value derived from existing AI tools and evaluate new ones.
- Rethink job roles and team structures as AI takes on more responsibilities, focusing on workflow ownership, supervision, and learning.
- Implement AI usage policies and guardrails for safe, compliant, and ethical use, ensuring practical adherence without hindering productivity.
- Build and deploy smaller AI tools and prototypes, and collaborate with Engineering for shared integrations and production support.
- Manage the AI tooling ecosystem, including selecting, piloting, and managing vendor relationships, and retiring underperforming tools.
- Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for AI adoption, automation impact, and return on investment (ROI).
Requirements
- Actively build with the latest AI tools and evolve personal approaches regularly.
- Demonstrate a track record of delivering AI and automation adoption at an organizational level with measurable impact.
- Possess a genuine interest in ways of working, role design, and the practicalities of how people perform their jobs.
- Comfortable building smaller solutions independently (prototypes, scripts, workflows).
- Willing to engage Engineering for shared integrations or production-grade builds when necessary.
- Capable of building the operational muscle of a function from scratch and prioritizing effectively.
- Confident in training and influencing Partners and Functional Leaders to translate strategy into practical value.
- Pragmatic operator who implements guardrails efficiently, aligning with Unity's principles of 'progress over process' and 'light scaffolding'.
- Excellent communicator, able to make AI concepts accessible and credible to non-technical audiences.
