About the Role
Bank of America is seeking a client-focused individual to serve as the first point of contact for financial center clients. This role involves identifying and addressing personal banking needs for individuals and small businesses, offering suitable solutions, and connecting clients with specialists. The position focuses on deepening client relationships through platform services, assisting with transactions, and providing exceptional client care, including proactive outbound communication and follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Partner with teams to provide clients with consumer and small business solutions, services, and strategies based on their personal banking needs and life priorities.
- Assist, educate, and train clients on using self-service technologies for simple transactions.
- Utilize available resources, technologies, and processes to optimize the client experience and ensure operational excellence and accuracy.
- Adhere to established processes, laws, and guidelines for daily activities, including account opening, maintenance, and Digital Assisted Shopping.
- Manage client interactions by taking appropriate actions for the bank and its clients, while complying with all regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of demonstrated sales experience in a relationship-oriented and client-centric environment.
- Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and intense focus on results, acting in the best interest of the client.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships.
- Demonstrates passion, commitment, and drive to improve clients' financial lives.
- Confident in identifying client needs and offering solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with all clients, both in-person and by phone.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new information, technology platforms, handle ambiguity, and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Applies strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet client needs.
- Demonstrates effective time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be a commissioned notary or able to obtain a commission within a few months of the start date.
- Must be able to work weekends and/or extended hours, potentially at any financial center location within a reasonable distance.
