About the Role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll provide Partner-led service and passion for food, ensuring customers have a great experience. Your drive to go the extra mile will enhance the Waitrose brand and build customer loyalty. Any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Stock replenishment to ensure shelves are full and products are correctly placed.
- Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery.
- Reducing wastage by managing product due diligence and markdowns.
- Supporting the wider shop team with tasks like checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment through general shopkeeping tasks.
Requirements
- Communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
Skills
- Customer facing role experience is welcomed.
- Up to date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
- Flexible approach to support the whole branch.
