About the Role
The Senior Planning and Business Intelligence Analyst role supports the Unit’s work through data analysis, benchmarking, and market and competitor analysis. This role assists in the annual planning round by providing market intelligence and supporting new program development and viability. The post-holder will collaborate with the broader planning team and contribute to the development of the university’s Tableau platform to enhance business intelligence and enable evidence-based decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Supports the annual planning round through the provision of market intelligence.
- Assists in new programme development and viability.
- Works in close collaboration with the broader planning team.
- Supports the wider operations of the directorate.
- Contributes to the development of the university’s Tableau platform to support business intelligence.
- Enables evidence-based decision making.
Requirements
- Experience of data analysis / business intelligence.
- Experience using tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
- Experience delivering high-quality reports and dashboards that communicate clear insights to key stakeholders.
- Highly numerate with experience of analysing a range of different types of data (including NSS and OfS).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proactive, contribute to department initiatives, adaptable, and eager to learn.
