About the Role
POLITICO Deutschland is seeking an Editor to build and continuously develop a new German-language PRO newsletter focused on defense. This role involves shaping the content and strategy of a daily Pro newsletter.
Responsibilities
- Develop a daily Pro newsletter in collaboration with the team.
- Shape the content and strategic development of the newsletter.
- Manage topic planning and set editorial priorities.
- Ensure high journalistic quality through careful editing.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from various departments to integrate perspectives and develop exclusive content.
Requirements
- Several years of in-depth experience in defense, security policy, and foreign policy.
- Proficiency with digital editorial systems, publishing platforms, and newsletter tools.
- A strong network within politics.
- Experience in moderation is ideal.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
