About the Role

As a Project Manager for Electrical Engineering, you will manage projects from planning to operational handover, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and serve as the central point of contact for clients and project partners. You will combine technical expertise with organization, economic thinking, and clear communication. You will work on diverse projects, from classic electrical installations to modern solutions in intelligent building technology and electromobility, with the opportunity to take on responsibility and actively shape things.

Responsibilities

  • Project management from offer and kick-off to execution, acceptance, and handover.
  • Control construction schedules and milestones, with responsibility for costs and results.
  • Coordinate clients, planners, construction management, internal teams, purchasing, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure proper execution according to standards, regulations, and technical guidelines, including testing and documentation.
  • Identify additional services and economic opportunities, prepare claims, and manage their negotiation and implementation.
  • Evaluate technical solutions, develop alternatives, identify risks, and make informed decisions.
  • Manage employees and subcontractors on construction sites, ensuring clear tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines.
  • Contribute experience to the team to continuously improve standards, workflows, and processes.

Requirements

  • Master or technician in electrical engineering or comparable qualification, or a degree in electrical engineering/building services engineering, ideally with project management experience.
  • Proficient in reading and evaluating plans, schematics, and specifications.
  • Familiar with relevant technical standards and regulations, especially VOB/B, DIN, and VDE.
  • Experience in managing electrical engineering projects with a focus on deadlines, costs, quality, and resources.
  • Proficient in using ERP/project tools and MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with construction schedule planning (e.g., MS Project) is desirable.
  • Entrepreneurial, structured, and decisive working style with a good understanding of economic and technical contexts.
  • Clear, binding, and respectful communication and leadership skills.
  • Valid driver's license Class B.
  • Willingness to travel regionally.
  • Experience in areas such as power distribution, lighting and emergency lighting systems, building automation, fire alarm and security technology, photovoltaics, or charging infrastructure is a plus.
