About the Role

As a Taste Consultant at Freshfoodz, you will bring our dishes directly to the people who make purchasing decisions. You will convince head chefs, purchasing managers, and operations managers with on-site tastings and sound professional advice. Because you interact with customers daily, you speak excellent German and present yourself confidently and convincingly. You have professional experience in the kitchen, gastronomy, or hotel industry, understand the processes in a professional kitchen, and know what chefs truly need in their daily work. A completed apprenticeship as a cook is ideal but not a requirement. Your area of operation is all of Germany, meaning you will travel extensively. With us, you will have real creative freedom, short decision-making processes, and a product you can stand behind.

Responsibilities

Planning and execution of tastings and product presentations at customer and prospect sites
Advising kitchen teams on preparation, portioning, and use of our dishes
Acquiring new customers in the hotel, gastronomy, and catering industries
Servicing existing customers and identifying potential for additional products
Accompanying trade fairs and industry events
Relaying customer feedback on taste, handling, and packaging to product development and sales
Documenting your visits and results in the CRM

Requirements

Professional experience in the kitchen, gastronomy, or hotel industry
Ideally, a completed apprenticeship as a cook or a comparable qualification in gastronomy
Sales or customer consulting experience is an advantage
Knowledge of catering and allergens/food information regulations is desirable
Enjoy interacting with people and a confident, engaging demeanor
Independent and structured way of working
Willingness to undertake regular business trips throughout Germany, as our operational area is nationwide
Driver's license class B
Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, as you advise customers daily; English skills are an advantage
Proficient in MS Office and CRM
